Exploring the River Dee

Friday evening to Sunday Evening. Some previous canoe experience advisable.

The Dee is Scotland's Classic White Water River. To take advantage of the Dee we will set up a base camp to work from on Friday evening and return to it on Saturday night. The Dee has some great rapids ideal for open canoes as well as spectacular scenery and we will pick the best sections of the river to paddle based on the prevailing conditions.

Accommodation will be in tents with communal camp cooking. We will be camping in the forest next to a tributary of the Dee so a "wild" site accessible by our logistics vehicle.
