Old Man of Stoer

Steeped in climbing history spanning three decades and famed for its wealth of quality routes amid stunning panoramas, Glencoe and Lochaber offer a fantastic variety of both easily accessible and more remote climbing.

Here, you'll find a rich variety of ancient metamorphic rock, volcanic lavas and caldera and an impressively ice-carved landscape. The pinkish rhyolite of the beautifully symmetrical Buachaille Etive Mor, the bluish purple hues of the andesite topped Stob Coire nan Lochain and the grey granite of 'The Ben' all lend unique characteristics to the climbs that can be found here.

Sweeping gullies, imposing buttresses and long, absorbing ridges all combine to offer superb, varied climbing with a real mountaineering feel.

Our Glencoe and Lochaber climbing adventures promise to give you the opportunity to sample some of the best loved climbs in Scotland in unparalleled surroundings
