Our Staff
Adventure Scotland started life in 1998 as a consortium of adventure activity providers. We were drawn together by common interest, a respect for each other’s skills and a commitment to a quality service. We all believed that what we did was in some way special –a belief we still hold.
Every member of our team is actively passionate about the outdoors and they are inspired by the activities, the environment and the people we work with.

Jerry Craig Technical Advisor Sailing |
Jerry Craig works for Adventure Scotland as our technical advisor for all things wind driven.His role involves facilitating training for council employees, inspecting facilities and advising on any technical issues related to Sailing.Jerry is a Royal Yachting Association Yachtmaster Offshore, Coastal Skipper, Powerboat Instructor, Senior Dinghy Instructor & Dingy Level 5 Instructor (Advanced). He is also qualified as a BCU Level 3 Canoe Coach, BASI 3 Alpine Ski Instructor & BASI Adaptive Trainer. With this range of qualifications, Jerry also delivers our outdoor events and programs in a variety of outdoor sports.Jerry is usually out on the water in some sort of boat whether it be canoe, dinghy or a bigger keel boat. He particularly enjoys exploring the West Coast of Scotland by sail, sometimes cruising at a leisurely pace, but he enjoys a good race too!Sailing has taken him to some beautiful & remote spots around the world such as: St Kilda, North Rona, Sula Sgeir, Estonia, Lativa, Stockholm & Finland. |
