What We Do

Adventure Scotland provides advisory services to outdoor activity providers, outdoor education practitioners, outdoor event companies and local authorities.

Our Services Include:

· Training for employees

· Risk assessment & risk management

· Inspection of facilities

· Technical advice on a wide range of activities

Why Use Us

We seek out and employ the most appropriate people for these services who are qualified to a high level and who are considered to be industry experts in their chosen field.

We are licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Service and are business members of the Institute for Outdoor Learning.

Many of our staff are involved on a voluntary basis with Advisory Bodies & National Governing Bodies.

· Dave Horrocks is a member of the: Adventure Activities Industry Advisory Committee, Scottish Advisory Panel for Outdoor Education, Scottish Adventure Activities Forum & CNP Local Outdoor Access Forum.

· Graeme Shilland is the Vice-Chair of the Scottish Rafting Association

· Claire Scott is a Director of the Scottish Canoe Association

This ensures that Adventure Scotland is able to provide up to date advice in your required area, reflecting current best practice laid down by the appropriate National Governing and/or Advisory Body.
