Questions You Should Ask

Is it suitable for all team members… even the unfit?

All our events are customized to the requirements of our clients. We are careful to ensure that you will be challenged, but that you will have options to select when it comes to the amount of physical exertion! All our activities can be adapted according to the ability & agility of team members.

Will my team cope?

Most certainly! Our courses are designed to challenge and yet not take participants too far away from their comfort zone. You can only learn and have fun if you are coping. We create an honest and supportive environment for your teams to work effectively together to ensure success.

Will I get cold and wet?

This depends on the type of activity you have selected. You may get wet (whatever the activity -in Scotland, this is almost guaranteed at any time of the year!), but you will have been provided with high quality equipment and clothing to protect you from the worst of the elements. Staff also carry spare items with them to ensure your comfort throughout the day.

Does adventure make a difference?

The outdoor environment creates experiential learning opportunities. Experiential learning is usually retained for the long-term. Adventure provides the opportunity to explore yourself and your team within a real environment, with real challenges leading to memorable experiences and long-term learning.

How will learning be transferred back to the workplace?

A key part of our approach is to link experience on programmes back to activity in the workplace. We use skilled facilitators and coaches with extensive experience of development training in a business and industrial setting. We also have the means to follow up on programmes by engaging with participants back in the workplace.

Do you arrange accommodation?

We provide a complete bespoke service from your premises to the venue and back, including transportation, accommodation and dining. Depending on your preferences, required outcomes and budget, accommodation can be anything from 5 star hotel to a tarpauline sheet!.

If you prefer to arrange accommodation or other elements yourself then that’s fine too.

Where do you operate?

In a short answer… anywhere! We are happy to provide activities close to you (anywhere in the UK or beyond) or invite you to visit us in the Cairngorms National Park.

How many people can come?

As many as you like! Given enough notice, we can provide for hundreds of people at the same event.
