Our Responsibility To You

At Adventure Scotland, we take our responsibility for your safety to a higher level.  Not only do we comply with guidelines set down by the National Governing Bodies, we seek to contribute to the development of best practice and to operate at standards above those advised.  Many of our staff are involved on a voluntary basis with Advisory & National Governing Bodies. (also see our Advisory & Consultant Services Page).

If your event utilises recognised outdoor sports, then you can rest assured that the member(s) of staff hold national qualifications from the appropriate National Governing Bodies, and that these qualifications will be at a high level rather than just the “minimum requirement”.  We only use experienced staff and keep ratios low to ensure high quality provision and high levels of safety.

We Look After You By Ensuring That:

· All our activities have written generic risk assessments (which are available on request).  These are continually reviewed and are enhanced by the addition of site specific assessments of the venues we use as well as the dynamic assessments made by our experienced staff during all activities.

· We provide quality staff to supervise your activities and by providing the correct equipment at the right time and place.  Your team will also receive a full briefing before any activity, with open two-way communications should they have any questions or need any guidance.

· Our staff are selected not only on the basis of their qualifications, but also on their inter-personal skills and their ability to create an open and supportive environment.  We make sure that our staff are tuned into the needs and high expectation of corporate client groups.

However, don’t expect to be wrapped in cotton-wool! Your team will still have genuine experiences and real adventure, just rest assured that our staff will step in / stop an activity if required.
