| Since 2003 Adventure Scotland have been regular contributors to the work of our various Subsea and Pipeline construction project teams. They have arranged for us around eight different outdoor team building events that were both stimulating and appropriately challenging; ranging from the rivers and hills of Speyside to sailing vessels off the west coast. They have consistently come up with unique and challenging locations and fresh ideas. With team cohesion key to effective working within high spending project teams, I especially like the inclusiveness of the events Adventure Scotland have designed for us. This and their friendly and supportive staff enabled our team members to fully participate and contribute. We also like the levels of planning and attention to detail that they apply. For myself, managing onshore and offshore construction where "no harm to fellow human beings" is our mantra, the level of care and detail shown in the planning and risk assessment, quality of equipment and the consummate professionalism of Dave and his team gives much appreciated peace of mind. There can be no doubt that these events have helped us significantly to grow a sense of community within our project teams (and indeed with our primary Contractors) and have led to better communication and increased co-operation and higher levels of efficiency. | We used Adventure Scotland to organise our annual away day. They took on board what we wanted to get from the day and organised the different tasks, keeping us informed in the build up to the event. The day itself pushed some people out of their comfort zone but enabled the rest of the group to rally round and build team spirit. The day was full of fun and the outdoor picnic was amazing. We would recommend Adventure Scotland if you are looking for an action packed, fun, team building day out. |
