| At Adventure Scotland, we take our responsibility for your safety to a higher level. Not only do we comply with guidelines set down by the National Governing Bodies, we seek to contribute to the development of best practice and to operate at standards above those advised. Many of our staff are involved on a voluntary basis with national Advisory & Governing Bodies. (also see our Advisory & Consultant Services Page). |

| If your event utilises recognised outdoor sports, then you can rest assured that our member(s) of staff hold national qualifications from the appropriate National Governing Bodies, and that these qualifications will be at a high level rather than just the “minimum requirement”. We only use experienced staff and keep ratios low to ensure high quality provision and high levels of safety. |

We Look After You By Ensuring That: |
- All our activities have been risk assessed (documents are available on request). These are continually reviewed and are enhanced by the addition of site specific assessments of the venues we use as well as the dynamic assessments made by our experienced staff during all activities.
- The quality and experience of our staff is the backbone of our safety policy. The correct equipment at the right time and place reinforce this. Your team will receive a full briefing before any activity, with open two-way communications should you have any questions or need any guidance.
- Our staff are selected partly on the basis of their qualifications, and also for their ability to create an open and supportive environment.

| However, don't expect to be wrapped in cotton wool! Your team will still have genuine experiences, real adventure and the freedom to succeed. Our staff will intervene to stop an activity if they judge safety to be compromised. |
